Committee Descriptions

Communications Committee
This committee develops outreach strategies to publicize the event, creates internal and external communication materials and distributes gala materials.

Corporate Committee
The corporate committee is in charge of engaging members of Chicago's corporate community that are not already national HRC sponsors to sponsor the Chicago gala. Click here to view the corporate sponsorship opportunities for 2015.

Political Committee
The political committee reaches out to pro-equality legislators and invites them to the gala dinner as well as directs the political messaging for each years gala.

Production Committee
The production committee organizes gala logistics. This committee is responsible for recruiting volunteers for the night of the gala, managing every aspect of the event and soliciting decorations.

Silent Auction Committee
The work of the silent auction team will center around soliciting donors for the silent auction, obtaining donated items, preparing donor sheets, set up for the actual night and delivery of auction items.

Table Captain Committee
The table captain committee develops strategies for recruiting table captains, organizes table captain events, creates innovative ways to assist table captains in filling their tables and assists with gala seating arrangements.
